Kadina Child Care Centre is proud to provide high-quality early childhood education and care services for families in Kadina and the surrounding community. Our centre offers a safe and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential life skills.
Childcare Services:
We offer services to cater for children aged 6 weeks to school age. Our bookings are currently weekly full days, with casual waitlists also available. A casual position may become available if a child with a permanent position is absent on a day.
Play:
Play is an essential part of a child’s growth and development, offering more than just fun and entertainment. It serves as a fundamental way for children to learn about the world, build important skills, and express their creativity and imagination.

Literacy
Early literacy is learning about sounds, words and language. Children develop and learn best through everyday fun activities like singing, talking and games.
Pre writing skills eg. drawing/scribbling are the fundamental skills children need to develop before they are able to write. These skills contribute to the child’s ability to hold and use a pencil and the ability to draw, write, copy and colour.
Numeracy
Is the ability to see and use math concepts in all areas of life. Numeracy involves understanding numbers, counting, solving number problems, measuring, estimating, sorting, noticing and patterns.
Healthy Meals
We prioritise the health and well-being of every child, which is why we provide nutritious, balanced meals and snacks prepared fresh each day. Our menu is designed to meet the nutritional needs of growing children, incorporating a variety of wholesome foods to support their physical and cognitive development. Children with allergies, intolerances, cultural preferences are provided with alternate meals to cater for their needs.
Play Based Learning
When children play with other children and adults, they create relationships and friendships, test out ideas, challenge each others thinking and build new understandings.
Play provides an opportunity where children can ask questions, solve problems and engage in critical thinking. Play based learning provides opportunities for children to learn as they discover, create, improvise and imagine.
